Put your face on the map!

With your help, we want to create the first website in the world where you can view, on a single page, the equivalent of circa point 1 percent of the world's population. As the images fill up, we'll be adding more and more spaces until we represent .1% of the world's population!  So go ahead, surf the grid to find someone you like and put have your picture next to them.  Or you can find your own space and tell your friends to join you there! :)

Far fetched and crazy? We don't think so. There are hundreds of millions of people surfing the internet everyday! The internet has become accessible to people in all corners of the world, so much so that this project is perfectly capable of succeeding.

If this website is successful in displaying point 1 percent of the world's population it will be a huge achievement. To everyone that has submitted their picture it would be something worth taking care of as something unique that they helped create. Therefore, our goal is to make it a permanent display of point one percent of the world's population in the 21st century.  Imagine your great great grandchildren seeing your photo on this site…

Create an image mosaic using all the images submitted

Imagine being able to look at point 1 percent of the world's population, all at once! That's exactly what you'll be doing once this project is complete. To make this fully possible we're going to arrange the pictures to form a beautiful image, and then print the completed image off in poster form for you to buy and hang anywhere you like!  More details of this offer will be available upon completion.

Contemporary Art?

This site is a contemporary symbol of the capabilities we as people have created through developments in technology, globalization and unity. As such we will be getting in touch with modern art museums worldwide to which we wish to donate the first prints of the completed image mosaic. More details about this to come.
